Size guide

How to measure your shoe and boot size

Follow these steps to measure your foot and leg correctly. Use a flexible measuring tape and record all measurements in centimetres.

Before you start

  • Measure both feet and both legs.
  • Take the measurements while standing with your weight distributed naturally.
  • Wear the socks you normally use with the footwear.
  • If the measurements differ, use the larger one as your reference.
  • Do not pull the measuring tape tight.

How to find your shoe size

Place a sheet of paper on a flat surface and stand on it. Hold the pencil completely upright and draw around your foot without leaving any extra space.

  1. Mark the end of the heel and the tip of the longest toe.
  2. Measure the straight-line distance between the two points.
  3. Repeat the process with the other foot.
  4. Find the larger measurement in the table to obtain your approximate size.

How to take leg measurements

These measurements are only needed when we request them for a special order or to check the fit of a boot.

A. Ball circumference:
Measure around the widest part of the forefoot, across the metatarsals.
B. Instep circumference:
Measure around the highest part of the instep.
C. Heel and instep circumference:
Wrap the tape around the heel and over the top of the instep.
D. Ankle circumference:
Measure around the ankle without pulling the tape tight.
E. Calf circumference:
Measure around the widest part of the calf.
F. Below-knee circumference:
Measure around the narrowest area just below the knee.
G. Boot height:
Measure in a straight line along the inside of the leg, from the floor to just below the knee.

Record the measurements for the left and right legs separately. Give all measurements in centimetres.
